SY0-701 covers 5 domains: General Security Concepts (12%), Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Mitigations (22%), Security Architecture (18%), Security Operations (28%), and Security Program Management & Oversight (20%).
SY0-701 is the current version (released Nov 2023). SY0-601 was retired July 2024. SY0-701 reorganizes the exam into 5 domains, adds emphasis on cloud, automation, and zero trust, and updates threat coverage.
